Pre-feasibility studies for the Southern zone of the UES RK

In accordance with the Rules, at the request of the authorized body on the basis of the terms of reference developed by the system operator, the Settlement and Financial Center for Renewable Sources Support LLP developed preliminary feasibility studies:

• Pre-feasibility study of Kyzylorda region for the construction of a combined cycle plant with the output of thermal energy with the volume of purchase of service to maintain the availability of electric power 240 MW (download);

• Pre-feasibility study of Turkestan region for the construction of a combined-cycle plant without heat output with the volume of purchase of service to maintain the availability of electric power 926.5 MW (download).

*the winner of the auction for the construction of newly commissioned generating units with maneuverable generation mode independently determines the configuration and manufacturer, subject to compliance with the requirements of the Rules and Schedule of the auction for the construction of newly commissioned generating units with maneuverable generation mode for 2022, approved by Order of the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 14, 2022 No. 17.
